Being a Guyanese born Canadian artist brings to my work a unique and individual perspective. Initially trained as a painter and sculptor at the Burrowes School of Art in Georgetown, I had the opportunity to join the Interior Design program at Ryerson University when I moved to Toronto. This experience coupled with 30 years of painting professionally that all began in Guyana has proved invaluable in shaping a varied background in Art and Design.
As you explore the gallery pages of my website and become more familiar with my journey through my art, you will begin to make the connection with how art and design shapes our environments like no other. My art hangs in private collections in Guyana, Canada, Britain and the United States of America, and I have had the opportunity to exhibit in both Guyana and Canada.
